MOROCCO – Adm. Mark Ferguson, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, visited various sites while in Morocco to build on the enduring partnership the U.S. Navy shares with the Royal Moroccan Navy and to discuss mutual maritime security issues with his counterparts, Jan. 15 – 16, 2015.

Some of the places Ferguson visited were the Royal Moroccan Naval Academy, the Royal Moroccan navy frigate Mohamed VI (701), a Moroccan coastal radar site on Ksar Sghir Naval Base, and toured the Mosque Hassan II (pictured above) and the Port of Tanger-Med.
